Lead Nurturing Strategies: What strategies work and when to use them

Many private clubs don’t necessarily struggle with generating leads. Through the many options available for finding prospective members, such as Member Referral, Social Media and Digital Marketing, and non-member events, it’s not uncommon for private clubs to increase their lead pipeline by 50-100 member candidates each year.

The common area where majority of clubs struggle is converting those leads to new members. Providing relevant content based on each individuals interest and desires when they want it the most is essential to speeding up the buying process and converting more leads. A well thought-out online and offline nurturing strategy can increase a Membership Director’s closing rate 10-fold.

This session will show trends for successful leads nurturing tactics. Each attendee will leave the meeting understanding which leads are worth the extra effort and be armed with various tools and ideas to immediately implement at their Club and improve conversions.

BRANDON TOWNS

Brandon Towns has spent the last decade challenging the status quo of hospitality. He has successfully worked the private club life “behind the scenes” as a Director of Marketing, educated the industry as a marketing consultant and professional speaker and lives the lifestyle as a member. To say the private club industry is a part of his diet is an understatement. It’s the main course.

Spend a few minutes talking to him, and you’ll quickly understand his passion and refreshing outlook on new and sustainable marketing strategies for the private club industry. His approach drives recruitment and lead conversion efforts (without using the typical discount techniques), while focusing heavily on retention by connecting and engaging current members. 

Brandon has extensive knowledge and experience in market and club analysis, lead generation and lead nurturing, digital and social media marketing, targeted email and direct marketing. 

Brandon aspires to continue to push the boundaries of private club marketing and enjoys talking with club officials about their biggest marketing and sales challenges. With experience collaborating and consulting over 100 private clubs, Brandon has witnessed an array of obstacles inhibiting private clubs from maximizing recruitment, member engagement and retention.
